Cyberport Global Landing Programme: An opportunity for Uzbek AI startups to enter Hong Kong and China

As part of the cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and Hong Kong Cyberport, the Cyberport Global Landing Programme is being organized for AI startups from Uzbekistan. The programme will take place in Hong Kong on November 2–5, 2026, with 5 AI startups from Uzbekistan expected to participate.

The initiative aims to support Uzbek technology companies in entering the Hong Kong and Mainland China markets, while strengthening innovation and investment ties between Hong Kong and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Hong Kong Cyberport is one of Hong Kong’s major digital technology and innovation hubs, bringing together startups, investors, corporations, technology partners, and professional service providers.

What does the programme offer?

Selected startups participating in the Cyberport Global Landing Programme will:

• receive practical market-entry support, training, and market insights for Hong Kong;
• will participate in Hong Kong FinTech Week as part of the IT Park Uzbekistan stand and showcase its product to an international audience;
• gain closer access to Cyberport’s innovation ecosystem;
• gain access to the Cyberport Enterprise Network, Investor Network, Technology Network, and Professional Network;
• take part in meetings with investors and potential business partners, as well as B2B matchmaking sessions;
• explore business development opportunities in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

In addition, selected companies may have an opportunity to gain accelerated Fast-Track access to the Cyberport Incubation Programme.

Cyberport will cover airfare and accommodation expenses of up to HK$10,000 (approximately $1,200) per participating company.

Who is the programme for?

The programme is primarily designed for startups that:

• are developing AI-based products or technology solutions;
• have reached the Series A stage;
• are planning to expand into Hong Kong and Mainland China.

A total of 5 startups from Uzbekistan will be selected to participate in the programme.
