One of the world's leading startup accelerators, Y Combinator (YC), is accepting applications for the Winter 2027 program.
One of the world’s leading startup accelerators, Y Combinator (YC), is accepting applications for its Winter 2027 batch. The program will take place in San Francisco, USA, from January to March 2027, and startups from Uzbekistan are also eligible to apply.
Selected teams will receive $500,000 in investment, access to an international investor network, and resources needed to scale their startups globally.
Y Combinator is an international accelerator specializing in supporting technology startups from the early stages of development. During the program, founders will have the opportunity to work with experienced YC partners, refine their business models, develop their products, and shape strategies for entering international markets.
$500,000 investment and global opportunities
Each startup accepted into Y Combinator receives a $500,000 investment under standard terms. The investment consists of two parts:
- $125,000 in exchange for 7% equity in the company;
- $375,000 through an uncapped MFN SAFE, with no valuation cap and terms adjusted to the most favorable subsequent financing conditions.
In addition to the investment, participants gain access to Y Combinator’s global founder community, opportunities to connect with international investors, and practical guidance from experienced YC partners.
Program participants also receive access to more than $12 million worth of partner benefits, credits, and special offers, including cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence services, and other technology solutions.
It is worth noting that startups founded by Uzbek entrepreneurs have previously been accepted into Y Combinator programs. In particular, Twolabs.ai, founded by Sardor Rahmatulloyev, participated in the Spring 2026 batch, while Speko.ai, founded by Beknazar Abdikamalov, joined the Summer 2026 batch.
These examples show that Uzbek startups already have experience taking advantage of Y Combinator’s opportunities.
Who can apply?
Startups applying for the Winter 2027 batch do not need to be incorporated in the United States. Startups operating in other countries, including Uzbekistan, are also eligible to apply.
